We Acquired New Computer

I had been operating my one computer for 4 years. I am also using same computer for Accounting Education Site development since 2008. But due to increasing my work, a new computer was needed for following purposes. These reasons are also my evaluation of return on our investment in new computer.


1. Need of More Hard disk

I need a separate store where I can keep the data of Accounting Education like new made videos of accounting tutorials, contents, accounting images. I have already 80 GB hard disk of Samsung. But my need was of 240 GB hard disk.


2. Need of Helper for Editing of Accounting Education

 For editing of Accounting Education, it is very necessary that someone correct its spelling and grammar mistake. For this, I had to create infrastructure in the form of  acquisition of new computer.

3. To Create Extra Reserve Computer

As accounting teacher, I know reserves and its importance. Some time ago, my computer was dead and I did not do my work due to this reason. My whole day was spent for repairing my single computer. So, I was thinking to buy new computer for doing my accounting work if there is some default in my old computer.

4. To Take the Benefits of Networking of Two computer

a) With networking solutions we can share Internet access. That alone is well worth the investment of a new computer.

b) Another benefit of having our own home network is when I have a project that I am completing with a co-worker.

5.  Printer and Scanner Sharing

I have single printer and scanner. By purchasing a new computer and sharing printer, I can effective use of my printer and scanner with two computer.

6. Effective Use of My Saving in Bank Account

I collected money for purchasing my computer from my saving in Bank Account. I think, this investment is effective use of my saving.

Due to above reason, yesterday,  we had bought new computer with 160 GB hard disk and 512 MB RAM. Due to huge light cut in northern area of India, we had also acquired UPS of 600 VA of Techcom company. Its light weight, compact design perfectly fits to our limited working environment.

We also purchased fast Ethernet Switch and Cable wires for taking the benefits of Internet can computer networking of two computer. It has been made by Quantum Hi Tech and its cost is  Rs. 700 in Indian Market. In future, if I will buy more 5 computer, I can take the benefit of this Fast Ethernet Switch because after using two computer, it has still 5 button are free for connecting more 5 computer through single modem.
