Vinod Kumar (born March 30, 1980) is an Indian Educator who is founder of Accounting Education University, Accounting Education and Svtuition online education platform and organisations with which he has written over 5000+ contents and video teaching lessons a wide subjects, focusing on accounting, finance, mathematics and science.
He wrote more than 40 eBooks on Accounting and Finance. One of his bestselling eBook is Journal Entries MADE Easy, Financial accounting eBook, Cost Accounting eBook, Management Accounting eBook, Financial Management eBook and Corporate Accounting eBook. He is well known for his online accounting course. Moreover he wrote some popular accounting notes for graduate and post graduate classes.
Early life and education
Vinod Kumar was born in Noble family. He father has retired from Govt. Service as circle superintendent in water supply department. He graduated in commerce in 2001. He has received the post graduate degree in commerce in 2004 specialize in Management Accounting, Advance Financial Management and Advance Financial Accounting. He is also tech-savy in Computer Science. Mathematics was his favorite subject from childhood.
Career
He started his career in 2001 as a part-time teacher in S.O.S. Children Village of India. For some time, he also worked as Govt. School Education Volunteer and Audit Trainee. He had taught classes for 10 years ( From 1998 to 2008 ) through his Swami Vivekanand Institute (Offline).
Accounting Education is a non-profit educational organization created in 2008 by Vinod Kumar (Educator) to provide "a free, world-class accounting education for anyone, anywhere." Its website features thousands of educational resources, including a personalized learning dashboard, over 3,205 written tutorials and video tutorials and lectures stored on teaching accounting, accounting softwares, finance and taxation. All resources are available for free to anyone around the world. It operates on money it receives from donors.
