Following are the tips which will be helpful for dedicated people who wants to earn honest money by helping client for filling their GST return.

1st Tip : Read GST Books 

Now, in the market, there are lots of books of GST Law and procedure. You must buy all.  Read, read and read all these books. It will boost, your confidence for getting fees from your customer for GST return filling.

2nd Tip : Help New First Time Enrolled Dealer for GST

You have to find new first time enrolled dealer for GST. They will have old VAT or service Tax no. You have to give this free service for getting their GSTIN. Now, they will start to trust on you. Other professionals are taking fees for this. But, it is your new business. Like me, many months, I wrote on this website without any income. It has created trust in the mind of my readers. 3rd Tip : Start to Record Dealer's Account with Full of GST in Tally

Many of old accountants do not know to record GST in Tally. But you are new and you have to find such wondering dealer who can deal with you to maintain accounts with full of GST in Tally.

4th Tip: Start to Help to File GST Return in GST Portal

You have to take dealer's GSTIN and help to file GSTR- 1, GSTR-2 and GSTR- 3 on the behalf of dealer and get fees for this service.

5th Tip: Focus on GSTR -1 Return Filling 

When dealer will reach 1st of month, he will take tension to file GSTR -1 10th of month is last date to file GSTR -1. So, new GST Practitioner must focus on it. In dashboard of GST portal, there will be big form which GST practitioner has to fill for filling GSTR- 1 return which is relating to provide information of total outword supplies or sales of dealer. This online form will be filled on the basis of invoice wise, rate wise and state wise.

1. First of all, GST Practitioner will fill the detail of GSTIN and total sale or turnover in preceding year in GSTR - 1 form.
2. Add the detail of outward supplies of registered persons ( buyers) of your dealer.
3. Add the detail of taxation outward inter-state supplies to un-registered persons whose invoice value is more than Rs. 2.5 Lakh.
4.Add the detail of zero rated outward supplies and deemed exports.
5. Add detail of Debit and Credit notes for amendment of current outward supplies for registered persons.
6. Add detail of Debit and Credit notes for amendment of current outward supplies for registered persons.
7. Add the detail of debit and credit notes for current amendment of current outward supplies for un-registered persons.
8. Add the detail of advance received or advance adjusted in current period or amendments of information furnished in earlier tax period.
