Today, one of the reader has called me on phone. Actually, he was interested to become a positive teacher. His sources are limited. He had also become failure as a perfect teacher. Due to this, he had to loss his source of income. Now, he wants to get guidance from me for becoming a positive teacher.
So, today, I want to help him and teachers like him who have the capacity to get success as teacher but their negativity toward the life make them failure as teacher.
Before starting its simple steps, I want to tell, who is a positive teacher. Positive teacher is the teacher who see the positive side when he is teaching and when he is not teaching. It means, both time will effect his teaching profession. Event situation are adverse, still positive teacher will not give up. His duty is teaching. He will teach and will perfect in it.
Now, we come to the question. How to Become Positive Teacher?
1. Do Mistakes, Learn from Own Mistake and then Teach
Do you think, what did you have do mistake in your teacher? Do you think, why are you so negative thinking teacher? Answer is very clear. You read the book and then you start teaching. Real life is not theory. You do not do practical. You are fearing for doing mistakes. You are fearing to tell you that you have done mistakes. You think, what your students say? If you have to become more positive teacher. You have to do something practical first in your own life by any risk. You will do mistakes. Learn from own mistakes. Now, teach your students. It is 100% sure, your students will be 100 times thankful to you because you have saved their life and their money for doing same mistakes.
2. Forget Your Past Failure
Past and futures are not equal. If you are failure as teacher in past. Why are you thinking same failure in future. It will bring negativity in you. Past and future are two different things. In past, you were child. Now, you are young. In past, you have made the houses in the dreams. But, now you have made your own real house. So, thinking on failure of your past is your mistake. Never repeat it if you are honest in your teaching.
3. Learn to Become Effective Teaching
All students need effective teacher. If you become effect instead of cause of effect on students, negativity will always come to you. You always think
1. Students are so stupid.
2. They have less brain.
3. Concepts have more difficult.
4. Teaching technology has totally changed.
5. Other teachers behavior is not good.
Always think
"My circumstances do not create me, I create my circumstances."
It will bring positivity in you. If you try to solve following questions positive angle.
1. If your students are so stupid, who will teach the good manners.
2. If your students have less brain, who will make them intelligent.
3. If concepts have more difficult, who will simplify them.
4. If teaching technology has totally changed, who will teach to students.
5. If other teachers behavior is not good, who will teach them good behavior.
4. Bring Positive Thoughts, You will Become a Positive Teacher
There is big power in thoughts. Bring positive thoughts in your mind when you start teaching. For example, you see that a student is disturbing whole class.
Think positive about him.
Great, that student have great energy to disturb whole class. As teacher what can I choose. I can punish him or I can encourage him to use his energy in good side. If you start to punish him. There will be the negative effect on whole class. You will become dictator from a teacher. Other students will also fear from you instead love to you.
So, encourage the students for using his energy. Promote him in sports. Promote him to other good activities. With this, same student will not have time to disturb the class. He will also become your fan.
5. Increase Your Energy
For teaching big classroom and teaching whole day, you need big energy. Lack of energy, you have become negative. Its bad impact will be on you and your family and your teaching profession. So, simple solution is to increase your energy. For increasing energy, do some exercise daily. Eat balance and vegetarian food. Create fun in your teaching. Never be lazy and idle in free time.
