How to Use Computer as TV?

Idea to operate Computer as TV has come when you want to save your place of your room and money and see TV when you are working on computer. But your problem may be "how to TV to computer?". So, today, you will learn this tutorial.

Before this tutorial, I want to tell why am I writing this article in accounting education. You can think it is not related to accounting. But, you will agree it is relating to education. Moreover, I love to do new things and share what I learned from new things. You know, sometime ago, I bought my second computer. After this, I learned how to transfer file from my one computer to another and shared it with you. Now, yesterday was dewali and I bought new TV tuner. With the help of TV Tuner, you can operate your computer as TV.

What is TV TUNER?

You can buy TV tuner of small cost from market if you want to use your computer monitor as TV. TV tuner has its hardware which convert TV signals in a form which can easily received by computer. It can catch cable, dish and TV antina signal.



Steps to us Computer as TV

1st Step: Connect TV tuner with Computer Monitor

TV tuners are two types one is in outside box this box is connected with monitor and computer. Other is internal TV tuner card which is attached in CP. We are talking about outside TV Tuner box. Because, it is benefited when you do not want to operate CPU with TV on computer monitor. Now Connect TV tuner with computer monitor wire. You will get one more wire with this; this wire can be used for connecting CPU, if you want to do computer work with seeing TV on same computer. But, you can do one work one time and by switch off the TV tuner, you will come to computer desktop.

2nd Step: Connect TV Antina or Dish with TV Tuner

For supply of TV signal, it is needed to connect TV antina wire with TV tuner.

3rd Step: Connect TV tuner and Computer monitor with Electricity

Both can work if you supply electricity. TV tuner consumes 2 volt electricity. So, connect the wire of TV tuner and computer monitor with electricity source plug.

4th Step: Scan the TV Station

After switch on the TV tuner, you have to scan the TV station. For this, you have to press first button on TV tuner and after pressing next button on TV tuner you will reach TV antina or Dish as per your require and this can be seen on your monitor. After Reaching Search Button, press the option of scan. This scan ends where you will see any TV station. If this scan fails to find TV station, then go and change the direction of TV antina and then check.

After two or three times practice of changing direction of TV antina or dish, you will see clear TV Station. Now, fix the time for TV and choose some of good and educational program on your computer as TV.
